On this special episode of Supporting Local Tourism, we are back in downtown Vernon participating in Sunshine day. In place of the popular Sunshine Festival, Downtown Vernon Association has created “Sunshine day” a smaller and safe version of past carnival events. I was invited to come and participate in Little Plums children’s parade, speak to locals, walk around and visit businesses and speak to individuals about the importance of Window masks in tourism right now, how to promote inclusive tourism, and how events like this are supporting Local Tourism!
