Happy World Tourism day 2020. In honor of the day I am announcing some exciting news with the world. I will be representing Canada at the next Miss Tourism World pageant!

Yes that is right I am Miss Tourism World Canada 2020/21, and will be competing on a major international stage. Now you may be asking “why Miss Tourism?”, and I am going to tell you. I choose Miss Tourism to become a voice for people with dyabilities traveling. Individuals with disabilities often face discrimination and even fear when traveling. As someone who is tightly involved with the ASL, deaf and communication disabled community, I know there is little access to ASL and hearing loops while traveling, as Miss Tourism World I want to bring light on these issues and work with people in the tourism industry on fixing these issues.
