August 6th- BC Day!!

Last minute our plans changed, I was invited to BC Day in Penticton where Canadas Priminister would be. I was able to see Justin Trudeau, speak, say hello and shake his hand!! All in my new crown and sash. This was my first high Publicity event! I was also interviewed by InfoTel News about my experience!

August 9th- Miracle Treat Day

August 16th- Burgers to beat MS at A&W

Oh! Another Yummy cause to support, buy a Teen Burger and help MS, who can so NO to that??!!

August 21st- New JOB and Kindale Fundraiser!

Remember how I said this would be some of my personal life also, well here it is. I got a new job on this day!! Many of you know I am a Preschool teacher, ECEA, well I got hired on at a new center and am Loving it!!

Also on this day, I attended the Kindale Beat the heat Burger and (Root) Beer fundraiser at wings restaurant! As all the Kindale fundraisers are this was fantastic and made a lot of money!!

August 25th- Back to School Bash

It is so hard to believe that summer is already over and the kids are back at school. On August 25th the Victory Life fellowship in Kelowna put on the back to school bash! The event helps kids in need, all the kids get a FREE backpack and FREE school supplies as they walk through the door. What a GREAT Cause!!

August 28th- Start University

I started Gallaudet University today, taking my first Semester ASL and Deaf Studies!
